Ski Patrol Volunteers
Every winter the Glacial Park Ski Patrol takes to the snow-covered paths of the McHenry County Conservation District to help provide a safe and enjoyable skiing experience for winter trail users. The GPSP provides all levels of training for both experienced and novice skiers, not only in ski techniques, but also in a variety of winter rescue and first aid protocols.
No skis? No worry! Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn will soon have you gliding over the snowy trails.
