Geocache Rally - May 2007
Experienced geocachers and beginners alike came out for this high tech scavenger hunt held at the Hollows. Using GPS units, geocachers search for caches, each of which contained a surprise and a question throughout the Hollows site in Cary.
Hooked on Fishing - June 2007
This annual MCCD Police Department event is held in conjunction with the Illinois Free Fishing Days. Participants can compete for the most fish caught, the smallest fish caught and the largest fish caught. McHenry County Conservation District staff is on hand to help and fishing gear is available. The Hollows event in co-sponsored by the Crystal Lake Anglers.

Using GPS units, geocachers search for caches, each of which contained a surprise and a question throughout the Coral Woods site in Marengo. In addition, participants got to enjoy the beautiful fall foliage of the site's Sugar Maple Trees.
