The Communications Department serves to reach, educate, gain awareness and create a positive image to the general public. The major goal of the budget for the Communications Department is to continue a comprehensive marketing awareness campaign that utilizes enhanced print publications, paid print/radio/cable advertising, target mailings, public presentations and additional special event coordination. In addition, continued efforts will be made toward creating a well-trained, well-informed, efficient and sustainable volunteer base for the District.
The Communications Department consists of three full-time employees, including the Marketing and Communications Manager, Communications Specialist and Volunteer Coordinator.
