Marengo Ridge Conservation Area offers unique geological formations that were left behind by the last glacier. This field study has levels that reflect each grade of learners. Students can discover the rock cycle, do rock ID using a key, play geology jeopardy, test vocabulary knowledge, find out the secrets of erosion and glaciations and everyone gets to enjoy a hike to experience our glacial landscape history. This program is held entirely outside. Please dress for weather. Groups are welcome to stay for lunch and enjoy the view.
