In an interactive scavenger hunt, student teams discover how the Conservation District managed to reduce the use of natural resources during the renovation of the Lost Valley Visitor Center. The building earned a Gold award in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (L.E.E.D.) and we explain the innovative sustainable building design and landscaping methods used. Students also get a chance to come up with ideas on how they can reduce their impact upon the earth in their daily lives.
