McHenry County Conservation Foundation was established to promote the goals and objectives of the McHenry County Conservation District, including land protection, management, conservation education, and research. The foundation plays a key role in protecting and preserving our natural heritage – the wetlands, waterways, prairies, forests, savannas and wildlife – and to help us ensure that these precious natural resources will be here for your children and future generations to come.
The Foundation was chartered in 2000 as a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) charitable organization, the Foundation welcomes charitable gifts and memberships to assist in our goal to protect and manage open spaces throughout McHenry County. We value your gifts of time and support. Your donation will go toward protecting our precious natural heritage.
MCCF programs include grant support for the Conservation District and other conservation groups, fundraising and membership development.
