Public notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received at the McHenry County Conservation District located at 18410 US Highway 14, Illinois until 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on Monday, February 6, 2012 for the following:
PURCHASE & INSTALLATION OF NATURAL GAS POWERED BACKUP GENERATOR,
as described in the Contract Documents and detailed in the Contract Specifications.
Plans and specifications for the above are available at the Brookdale Administrative Offices, 18410 US Highway 14, Woodstock, Illinois between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday or you may access them on our website at www.MCCDistrict.org. There is no charge for these documents. Specifications may be examined at: Brookdale Administrative Offices. To obtain a copy of this bid, contact the Administrative Offices at 815-338-6223.
Bids shall be accompanied by bid security in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the total bid.
The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond upon award of the Contract in the penal sum of the full amount of the Contract Price as described in the bid package.
No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of the bids without the consent of the Owner.
The Board of Trustees of the McHenry County Conservation District reserves the right to accept any part, or all of any bids, and to reject any and all or parts of any and all bids. Any proposal which contains items not specified or which does not complete all the items scheduled for bid, shall be considered informal and shall/may be rejected on this basis.
