Application process
No signatures are required on the application. The waiver and release is not part of the application. Signatures will be obtained at the orientation meeting.

Fees
- An early bird special discount is available for deer hunters.
- Credit cards will be accepted for permit fee payment. Cash will not be accepted.
Hunting sites
- Archery: moved Camp Algonquin to full season; added Indian Ridge (part of Stickney Run); added High Point; and converted three eastside sites to 2.5-month season.
Services
The District will not be snow plowing hunter access drives and parking areas. Bring your shovel!
Deer stands
- The archery stand height requirement has been lowered from six feet to four feet. Free-standing platforms are allowed.
- Hunters are allowed to bring in an unlimited number of people to help set up and take down stands.
Scouting and stand set-up
Archery hunters can start to scout the day after the orientation meeting.
Season
- The archery season has been extended to mid-January.
- Archery hunters can hunt on the Friday before Trail of History.
Qualifications
Archery hunters must hit 4 out of 5 arrows instead of 4 out of 4.
