Turkey Hunting

Youth Spring Turkey hunters must hunt from a hunter provided, manufactured blind in a pre-disclosed location within their zone boundary and may not move the blind from the designated position during their permitted hunt period. Only one youth may hunt with one adult within their designated zone at a time. No archery equipment is allowed for turkey, shotgun only equipped with turkey choke tube.

Participants requiring special accommodation assistance need to contact the District at the time of application so we can best meet each individual’s needs.  Notification of accommodation requirements after zone selection limits the District’s ability to accommodate.  Contact Gabriel Powers at  (815) 338-6223 or gpowers@mccdistrict.org
